Blanda grädde, smör och sötningsmedel i en kastrull och låt det sjuda på medelhög värme så att det småkokar i 20 minuter.

Rör sedan ihop rom och saffran. Låt sjuda i ca 10-20 minuter. Tillsätt sedan den hackade sötmandeln och häll blandningen i en bakplåtsklädd form, cirka 10x20 cm. Placera formen i frysen tills den har stelnat, vilket tar cirka 1 timme.

Lyft upp fudgepappret ur formen. Skär det i små kuber och förvara i kylskåp eller frys.
